Soji-ji Temple

Soji-ji is the 22nd temple on the Saigoku Kannon pilgrimage.

According to legend, a thousand years ago a nobleman passing by the temple saved a turtle from being tortured by young men, and with Kannon's help the turtle later saved the local lord's son from drowning in a nearby river.
