Okazaki Shrine, Kyoto

Founded in 794 to the east of the Kamogawa River, Okazaki Shrine is one of Kyoto's four most ancient shrines. The two deities enshrined are Susanoo no Mikoto and Kushiinada Hime no Mikoto.
