Ginkaku-ji Temple, Kyoto

Ginkaku-ji, the Silver Pavilion, is a Zen temple at the foot of Kyoto's Eastern Hills and at the northern end of the Philosopher's Path. It was built by shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa in the 1480s.
